Lisa Carlisle is a USA Today bestselling author of over forty paranormal and contemporary romances. She loves to read and write about wounded, quirky, or misunderstood heroes finding their happily ever afters. She received a graduate degree in literature from Harvard University’s School of Extension Studies and undergraduate degrees in both comparative literature and psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. For over twenty years, she worked as a technical writer and editor.
Lisa loves to read and travel. She served as a Marine in Okinawa, Japan; backpacked alone through Europe; worked as an au pair in Paris, France; and owned a bookstore in New England. In 2013, she started to partner with other authors to critique or beta read each other's novels, which later led to freelance editing fiction. When she's not working, Lisa likes to listen to a podcast while walking or gardening.
